A letter from Grandma Fearing to her granddaughter Evelyn stated that she was 70 years old and Grandpa was 72 years old when this picture was taken.

The fabric swatch (bottom image) is from the cloth Grandma's dress was made from. It is a Hawaiian print that she bought in Palo Alto on her visit there.

Grandma's pearl necklace came from Japan where Peggy Eaton (gone to New York now), Grandpa's cousin, bought them for Grandpa. Grandpa gave them to Grandma on their 30th aniversary.
